Yey, got an extra chest drawer for my clothes! I’ve been wanting this for a long time and finally I got this yesterday. Now, I don’t need boxes to put all my extra clothes and other stuff ‘coz I can already arrange and organize it in just one place.
We bought it in Jysk, it’s a shop where you can find a lot of different home furnitures and accents.
That’s one place I love to shop but since I was accompanied by my husband, I wasn’t able to roam around the store to do at least some window shopping.
He told me, I should know what and where I wanted to buy stuff. Then he could drive me there but no window shopping! Argh…
Anyway, since it was quiet far to take a bus going there and the thing was heavy, I asked him to drive and accompany me.
10 mins later, we were already at the cashier booth to pay but it tooook a long time for us to get the package. Outside the store, there we were waiting under the scorching heat of the sun! If I knew it would took us forever I could have waited inside the shop instead..
So anyway here’s the heavy box: 49 cm width, 117 cm length, 23 cm height.
A flat package…
As I opened it…
Whatttt! It looked like a big puzzle pieces consist of different sizes of wood pieces and a lot of nails and screws.
Holy moly, I needed to set it all up to make a 6-drawer chest!!
My husband looked at me, a bit worried…
“You’ve got a serious job here… anyway, would you like to begin? You have 24-hours to assemble it. He he..”
“Hmm.. Yes, I take the challenge. Timer starts now!” Smiled sarcastically and went to get the tools I needed.
After few hours…
So tiring but it was fun. Went to sleep for 10 hours since I was free from my job. Then I was away for a couple of hours to get a massage and facial treatment yesterday afternoon. When I came back, I cooked our dinner and continued assembling…
(Back view) After few more hours…
And a few more hours…
Whoa, I was a bit frustrated putting all these metal stuff on the side of the drawers… Deym, the screw was too big for the hole!
So I went to take a break and thought of eating mango float for snacks. (Sorry, no pic)
I watched TV and even managed to check my emails, facebook and twitter.
I could have been blog hopping also but I remember I needed to meet the deadline
so I continued the challenge.
And finally… after 24-hours I made it!
I started 7 PM thursday night and at 7 PM last night I certainly finished the challenge!

Husband came home from the grocery store and handed me an ice cream…
My reward! ;)))
He congratulated me and said he was proud of me. He told me that he was confident that I could do it by myself, and the only thing he would do was to keep quiet and not disturb me hahaha!
My man really knows me well.
